Exact blocks
The total comes from the generated voxel layers, not a smooth-volume estimate.
Turn a square base and target height into a centered Minecraft pyramid, one horizontal layer at a time. Choose a hollow shell or solid monument, inspect the 3D form, and collect an exact material total before placing the first block.
The highlighted slice is the selected horizontal layer. Build Layer 1 on the ground and keep every higher square centred.
A square pyramid should not depend on eyeballing the next step. The generator calculates a centred square footprint at every height, shows exactly when the walls move inward, and counts only the blocks displayed in the blueprint.
The total comes from the generated voxel layers, not a smooth-volume estimate.
Move from the widest foundation to the cap without losing the centre.
Save material with a hollow interior or fill the complete volume.
Choose the outside width of the square foundation. Odd widths have a single centre block.
A low value creates broad tiers; a greater height produces a steeper monument.
Use Hollow for an accessible building or Solid for a fully filled landmark.
Switch to Layers and reproduce each square before moving up one block.
This tool generates a regular square pyramid rather than a triangle standing on one edge or a round cone. The footprint is square, all four sides taper toward the same centre, and the output is divided into horizontal Minecraft layers. That geometry suits desert monuments, jungle temples, stepped ziggurats, survival bases, beacon enclosures, roofs and decorative megabuilds.
The base and height are independent. A 21-block base with 11 layers produces the familiar one-block inward step on most levels, while the same base with fewer layers makes wider terraces. Increasing the height repeats some widths before the next inward step, creating a steeper face. Those repeated layers are intentional: they translate a chosen height into whole Minecraft blocks without moving the centre.
| Proportion | Result | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| Height ≈ ¼ base | Broad stepped platform | Temples, landscaped terraces and raised plazas |
| Height ≈ ½ base | Classic block pyramid | Desert monuments, beacon halls and survival bases |
| Height ≈ ¾ base | Steep pyramid | Compact landmarks, roofs and fantasy towers |
| Height ≈ base | Tall taper | Dramatic roofs and narrow monuments |
Hollow mode keeps the outside boundary of each square layer and removes hidden interior blocks. It is normally the better choice when the pyramid contains rooms, storage, farms, stairs or a beacon chamber. The shell remains readable from the outside while the material total drops sharply. Because each tier can have a different footprint, the blueprint calculates its perimeter separately instead of applying one rough formula to the whole build.
Solid mode fills every square tier. Choose it for terrain, sculptures, compact monuments or builds where the interior will never be used. The material readout converts the total into 64-block stacks and a remainder, which makes survival preparation easier. Add a small buffer if the palette includes stairs, slabs, lighting or decorative trim because those pieces are not included in the structural count.
A square pyramid has four flat sloped faces and a square footprint. A Minecraft cone starts from a circle and uses circular rings, so it is better for round towers and spires. A Minecraft roof generator handles gable, hip, shed and other forms that cover rectangular buildings without tapering to one centred cap. The separate pages matter because each shape needs different block placement rather than a renamed preview.
If your build begins with a square room, use the same outside width in the Minecraft Square Generator to mark the foundation. For a cube-shaped lower structure, the Minecraft Cube Generator can calculate the walls and interior before the pyramid is placed on top.
The tool must fit a chosen base and height into integer block coordinates. If the height is large relative to the base, a smooth mathematical taper changes by less than one block per level, so neighbouring levels can share a footprint. If the pyramid is very shallow, its width may shrink by several blocks between levels. Both results keep the first and final layers centred while matching the requested overall dimensions.
Set the outside base width and height, open Layers, and build from Layer 1 upward. Keep every square aligned with the same two centre axes.
Yes. Hollow mode creates the outside boundary of each tier and removes the interior, leaving room for floors, stairs and other features.
The live total counts every block in the selected solid or hollow blueprint. It also shows full 64-block stacks plus the remaining number of blocks.
Either works. Odd bases have one centre block and are easier to align; even bases use a centre between four blocks. The generator keeps both types centred.
A tall pyramid may taper by less than one full block per vertical level. Repeating a footprint is the correct voxel approximation until the next inward step is reached.
Yes. It is a visual block blueprint with no command, mod or edition-specific dependency.
