What can you build?

Use a circle for tower foundations, wells, arenas, floors and portal outlines. Use a dome for observatories, greenhouse roofs, cathedral ceilings and covered halls. A complete sphere works for planets, floating ornaments, balloons, round rooms and large sculptural builds. Build the generated shell first, then replace selected blocks with windows, supports, lighting or decorative materials without losing the underlying symmetry.

3D preview vs. Layers

The 3D preview shows the finished shape so you can judge the proportions before committing blocks. Layers is the actual build plan: one horizontal slice at a time, in the order you place blocks in-game — lay one layer, then start the next on top.

Use 3D when comparing sizes or deciding whether a sphere will leave enough room for windows and interior floors. Once construction begins, treat Layers as the authoritative reference. Check the current layer number and block count before moving upward, especially near the widest part of a sphere where several neighbouring slices may look similar.

Hollow vs. Solid

Most builds are hollow — a one-block shell for domes, spheres and towers you want to stand inside. Solid fills the whole volume and uses far more blocks; use it only for statues or solid decoration.

Why odd diameters build better

An odd diameter puts a single block at the exact centre, so both halves mirror cleanly. Even diameters leave a two-block centre that often looks slightly off on curves. When in doubt, round to the nearest odd number.

Tips for building accurately

Mark the centre axis first with a temporary column, then build outward to keep every layer aligned. Build one quadrant and mirror it to the other three — a round shape is symmetrical, so you only really solve a quarter of it. When gathering materials, add extra for scaffolding and later changes; the block count is the shell only.

Complete and inspect each ring before starting the next one. One misplaced block near the bottom can shift the visual balance of every layer above it. For large builds, divide the total into stacks and store materials by construction session. Step back regularly: voxel curves usually read more smoothly from normal viewing distance than they do while you are standing directly beside the outline.
