Exact footprint blocks
Count the full road or wall footprint, not an ideal mathematical length.
Drag three points to shape a smooth Bézier curve, then turn it into a buildable Minecraft path, road or curved wall. Set the width, count every block, and export the exact grid instead of guessing each bend.
Drag the blue start/end handles and the orange control handle. The dotted guide controls the bend; the filled blocks are the blueprint you build.
The tool samples a quadratic Bézier path, converts it to connected Minecraft grid cells and expands the centre line to your chosen width. The block count and coordinate list come from the displayed blueprint.
Count the full road or wall footprint, not an ideal mathematical length.
Move the start, bend and end visually instead of typing abstract equations.
Plan a narrow decorative line, walkway, multi-block road or broad foundation.
Choose grid width and depth to match the available footprint in your world.
Drag the two blue handles to the exact blocks where the curve should begin and finish.
Move the orange control point. Pull it farther away for a deeper, more dramatic curve.
Choose path width, then follow the highlighted cells or copy the ordered coordinates.
A Minecraft curve generator translates a smooth line into connected block positions. Minecraft cannot place fractional blocks, so every road, wall and decorative sweep must use a sequence of horizontal, vertical and diagonal-looking steps. Planning those steps by eye often creates a flat section followed by a sudden corner. This tool distributes the change along the full path so the curve reads smoothly from normal viewing distance.
The three handles define a quadratic Bézier curve. The start and end are blocks the path passes through. The middle handle is a control point: the path bends toward it without necessarily crossing it. You do not need to understand the formula—drag the handle until the preview matches the terrain or building footprint.
For a Minecraft curved road generator, start with the centre line and position both endpoints on the roads you need to join. Move the control point toward the outside of the turn, then select the full-width view. A width of three works for a compact path, five creates a practical two-way decorative road, and seven to nine suits broad city avenues. The generated footprint closes small raster gaps so adjacent road blocks remain connected.
A Minecraft curved path can also guide canals, hedges, retaining walls, garden borders, rail approaches and terrain outlines. For a vertical facade or curved wall, read the grid as a front elevation rather than a top-down plan. Build the same line on successive Y levels to give the wall height.
| Plan | Suggested width | Use the grid as |
|---|---|---|
| Garden path or trim | 1–3 blocks | Top-down footprint |
| Curved road | 5–9 blocks | Complete road surface |
| Curved wall | 1–2 blocks | Top-down wall line |
| Facade or bridge profile | 1 block | Front elevation |
A Bézier curve is best when the endpoints and direction matter more than a fixed radius—for example, joining two roads around a building. Use the Minecraft Circle Generator when every point should stay the same distance from a centre. Use the Minecraft Arch Generator for a symmetrical opening with a defined span and rise. Use the Roof Generator for complete roof surfaces, including curved barrel roofs. Keeping these tools separate prevents a free-form path page from competing with pages built for specific architectural jobs.
The current page focuses on one planar curve and its block footprint. It does not generate a spiral staircase, a complete curved roof or a circular ring because those searches require different controls and construction instructions. Use the dedicated Spiral Staircase Generator for vertical tower stairs and the Roof Generator for full roof layers. A future multi-segment path tool could connect several Bézier curves, but a single three-point curve is easier to align and build accurately.
Place the start and end where the build must connect, then drag the middle control point to distribute the bend. Follow the generated cells in order instead of guessing where each step should occur.
It uses three points to define a smooth mathematical path, then rasterizes that path into whole Minecraft block positions. The middle point controls direction and strength of the bend.
Yes. Select Full width and choose a path width from one to nine blocks. The preview, block total and copied coordinate list update together.
Yes. Choose Centerline to generate a connected one-block curve suitable for outlines, trim, walls or the centre reference of a larger build.
Yes. This is a visual block blueprint rather than a command or mod, so it works with Java, Bedrock, console and Education Edition building.
No. This page creates a free top-down or elevation curve between two chosen endpoints. An arch is normally a symmetrical vertical opening with a fixed span, rise and spring line, so the Arch Generator is more suitable.
